Sonora Crittenden, Director of Community Health and Benefit at Dignity Health, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, is a driving force in advancing community health and health equity. She strategically collaborates with hospital and community stakeholders to address health disparities, proactively working towards a healthier future for all. Sonora leads the development of the hospital’s triennial Community Health Needs Assessment, identifying significant community health needs, and subsequently crafts the Implementation Strategy to address them. Her responsibilities also extend to overseeing the Volunteer Services Department for St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Sonora is an Arizona native who is deeply committed to serving her community. She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Arizona Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Arizona.

Debbie DiCarlo began her role as the Executive Director for the Office of Mission Advancement in May 2023. Debbie assists Bishop John Dolan to broaden and deepen the relationship of the faithful; to drive the efforts to engage lay and pastoral leaders in advancing the work of the Diocese of Phoenix through the meaningful contribution of gifts and talents; and to advocate the mission of the diocese within our own communities and beyond. A native of Arizona, Debbie comes to the Diocese of Phoenix with an abundance of education and experience across different sectors, including non-profit, healthcare social services, and for-profit organizations. Debbie is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) and has received many awards and recognitions throughout her career, including being named a Virginia G. Piper Fellow and the Bishop Edward A. McCarthy Award for Excellence in Development of Social Ministry. Debbie’s proudest accomplishments come from her family and her volunteer positions. Debbie and Richard have been married 37 years and have 2 sons who are now both married and have made Debbie and Richard grandparents 4 times over. Debbie is a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in foster care and also serves on the Board of Directors, Emeritus board for Kino Border Initiative. Before coming to the Diocese of Phoenix, Debbie served as CEO of Cancer Support Community Arizona. She has held additional executive leadership roles in AZ and CA but is grateful to be back in the Diocese moving forward the work of the Church to build the Kingdom of God for all.

Known for his pastoral heart and commitment to Pope Francis’ vision of a shepherd who lives among his flock, Bishop Dolan brings a personable, hands-on approach to ministry. His leadership continues to shape one of the fastest-growing and most diverse dioceses in the country, serving nearly 2 million Catholics across 44,000 square miles.

Cheryl Goodwin is the Chief Strategy Officer at Covenant Health Network, a non-profit, clinically integrated network supporting faith-based, senior-serving providers across Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. With over 35 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, Cheryl’s career includes seven years as CEO of a bi-state social service organization, where she led with a deep commitment to community impact. Throughout her career, Cheryl has contributed her expertise to numerous boards and currently serves on Duet’s National Meaning and Hope Advisory Board. An engaged Rotarian for 18 years, she previously served as President of her club in Iowa and is now an active member of Phoenix West Rotary. Cheryl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from St. Ambrose University. Her lifelong mission—both professionally and personally—is to provide support and resources for vulnerable individuals and populations. Outside of work, Cheryl finds joy in hiking, walking, and reading. She is also a proud mother to a daughter who serves as an emergency room nurse.

Tami is the first woman to lead AllThrive 365 in its 50-year history. Since 2022, she has championed programs that tackle Arizona’s most pressing challenges in health, housing, hunger, and caregiving. She brings 30+ years of nonprofit leadership from Catholic Charities, Ryan House, and Boys Hope Girls Hope. A Certified Fund Raising Executive, Tami also serves on statewide leadership councils for AARP Arizona, Arizona LeadingAge, and Governor-appointed committees. In 2024, she was named a Phoenix Business Journal Most Admired Leader and received the Virginia G. Piper Fellowship in 2025.
