FSL Announces Inaugural 50 Over 50 List, Recognizing Contributions from Outstanding Arizonans

Recognizing Contributions from Outstanding Arizonans

FSL (Foundation for Senior Living) is pleased to announce its inaugural 50 Over 50 list, celebrating the service of outstanding older adults who are dedicated to making Arizona a safe place to age.

In an era where award lists often highlight the achievements of younger generations, FSL is proud to launch an innovative and essential recognition that showcases the important contributions of older adults. These individuals possess immense wisdom and strength, and their efforts have significantly enriched our society.

“We are proud to open nominations for an award which recognizes older adults whose tireless commitments have woven safety and wellbeing into the very fabric of our community,” said Tami Bohannon, president and CEO of FSL. “It is thanks to their service and the work that we’ve done at FSL over the last 50 years that current and future generations of Arizonans will continue to thrive.”

Nominees should have significant contributions that align with FSL’s mission to promote health, independence and dignity for all. Their work has improved the quality of life for adults across Arizona, helped foster inclusive communities, and advanced policies that support healthy aging.

Recipients of the 50 Over 50 awards will be honored at FSL’s 50th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, October 22nd, at the Renaissance Hotel in Phoenix. Commemorating five decades of service, this golden anniversary event is set to feature dynamic speakers and innovative networking opportunities.

To nominate an individual for the list, visit fsl.org/nomination by July 31, 2024, at 5 p.m.
